Coming up on Saturday, December 22, Castle Billiards in East Rutherford, NJ will be holding their Christmas 9-Ball Classic. Top area player Scott Simonetti, who plays out of Castle Billiards, has worked to coordinate the event, alongside Castle owners John and Minnie Trobiano.
Castle has been a ongoing supporter of Tri-State area tours and players, and this event will give players another great opportunity to compete as well as celebrate the holiday season together.
The Castle Christmas Classic will be open to all levels of players, and will be a played in a non-handicapped, race to seven format. The entry fee for all players is $75, with all of the entry monies going toward the payout, as the house will be taking no green fees. A top prize of $1,000 is guaranteed to the winner, with the top eight placing players being paid out, unless there are over 48 entrants.
The deadline for entering the event is 11:00am sharp, on the day of the tournament, December 22. A player auction will be held following the entry deadline.
