Moving into Day 4 of the Olhausen World Tournament of 14.1, twenty-four players had come away from the round robin to go on to the two-round double elimination bracket, in which each match was played in a race to 150.
The top eight ranked players at the end of the round robin received the seeded positions with byes into the second round: Darren Appleton, Warren Kiamco, Jonni Fulcher, Wang Can, Charlie Williams, Mika Immonen, and Corey Deuel. Warren Kiamco was one of the players to make it through the bracket unscathed, as he sent defending champion John Schmidt to the one-loss side.
Six out of those eight successfully moved forward into the single-elimination rounds, while Wang Can and Jonni Fulcher were eliminated. 19-year-old Can made it through the round robin segment without any losses, but had less luck in the next round. While Danny Barouty had previously lost to Can in the round robin, he got his revenge in the double-elimination, winning 150-137. Can was then featured on the live stream table on the one-loss side, where he was eliminated by Jayson Shaw at 150-102.
Four players were noted for their high runs on Day 4, including Mika Immonen (102), John Schmidt (100), Shaun Wilkie (99), and Thorsten Hohmann (97).
Of the twenty-four players that started out in the double-elimination bracket, sixteen have now emerged to move on to the final single-elimination bracket. Below are the pairings to kick off round one.
