Although he fell short of victory the previous week at the Tri-State Tour’s Cue Bar stop, Paul Bramwell came back for another shot at BQE Billiards in Jackson Heights, NY and successfully snapped off the win.
Out of the field of thirty-five players, Bramwell took the undefeated road to the finals with wins against Paul Raval 7-0, Carl Yusuf Khan 7-5, Keith Adamik 7-1, and Steve Wade 8-5 to earn the hot seat spot.
Steve Wade had previously defeated Adrian Daniel in the final four of the winner’s side…but Daniel got back on track and then defeated Jamiyl Adams 6-5. Meanwhile, Keith Adamik also came out on top against Steve Kalloo in the same round, winning 7-3. Daniel and Adamik then met in the quarterfinal, and Daniel would clinch the final game to win the match 8-7.
In the semifinal, Adrian Daniel would continue to play strong and have a turnaround against Steve Wade, winning 8-4. However, in the final match, undefeated Paul Bramwell could not be stopped by Daniel. Initially, Daniel led 4-0, but Bramwell worked his way into the match and only allowed Daniel to win one more rack in the final, finishing it off with a 8-5 final score. Congrats to Paul Bramwell on a solid win, as well as all the event’s top finishers.
